“When you need to pick up something heavy, you ask for help….sometimes feelings can be heavy”
-James (Founder)
We ride for those we’ve lost, and to support those who need help …
In 2017 I had started to plan a ride on my motorcycle from California to Colorado, where my brother lived. Sadly, he took his life before I was able to make that journey.
It was a loss no one should feel.
Two years later I decided to ride to Colorado and back solo. It was a reflective and sorrowful journey, but necessary. I was able to share my, and my brothers stories to anyone who would listen; be it a stranger at a gas station in Winnemucca NV or the dozens of followers I had via social media. Thus DRC Memorial Rides became a reality.
From the saddle of my motorcycle I share my personal experience with life’s challenges. By talking openly about depression and anxiety I hope to deter as many people as I can from taking the path of my brother and let those who are currently suffering know they are not alone.
